Martin V. Martinez

Martin Vasquez Martinez entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2026, in Crystal City, Texas, surrounded by the love and comfort of his beloved family at Rancho Ocho Estrellas. Martin was born on January 30, 1937, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to his loving parents, Celestino Martinez and Julia Vasquez Martinez.

Martin was preceded in passing by his beloved parents, Celestino Martinez and Julia Vasquez Martinez; his son, Martin Martinez; his daughter, Rosalinda Martinez; his brothers, Domingo Martinez and Aurello Martinez; and his sister, Rosa Leos.

He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and family through his surviving children: his sons, Celestino R. (Trudy) Martinez, Jose F. (Donna) Martinez, Martin Martinez Jr., and Jesus (Kristela) Martinez; and daughters, Julia Martinez, Mary Jane (Jesus) Martinez-Mendoza, Alicia Martinez, and Mia (Robert) Sciandra, as well as his brothers: Gilberto (Lile) Martinez, Jose (Margarita) Martinez, Maximino Martinez, Celestine V. (Teresa) Martinez, Roberto Martinez, and Ramiro (Rosa) Martinez.

Martin's memory will also live on through his cherished grandchildren: Baby Joe, Elida, Julia, Celestino Jr., Jose Guadalupe, Angelica, Adela, Juan Miguel, Rosalinda, Juan Martin, Jose Martin, Gordon, Bronte, Jose Francisco, Rebecca, Nicole, Martin III, Dianita, Miguel, Jesse Jr., Reyna, Abraham, and Isaias, each of whom will carry a special part of his legacy in their hearts along with his numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
